01
Medical fitness is a separate decision
NDA selection includes assessment of medical fitness under the relevant service standards. A written result or SSB recommendation does not establish medical fitness. The designated medical authorities make that decision using the examination and records required for your case.
02
Find the standards for your intended service
Use the medical provisions linked to your examination notice and the relevant service’s official guidance. Requirements may differ by service or branch. A single internet table of height or eyesight values cannot cover every candidate, role or applicable exception.
03
Organise health information honestly
Keep relevant consultation reports, prescription details, surgery records and investigation results available where applicable. Follow the call-up instructions about what to bring and disclose information accurately during the examination. If a medical term is unclear, ask a qualified clinician to explain it; a coaching centre cannot diagnose you.
04
Distinguish physical preparation from a medical verdict
An active routine can support readiness for training, but performance in running or exercise does not certify eligibility. Discuss individual health concerns with a clinician and use appropriate supervision for physical training. Avoid making treatment decisions solely to match an internet eligibility claim.
05
If further assessment is required
Read the written instructions issued by the medical or recruitment authority. They determine any further review process, permitted evidence and deadlines. Keep copies and seek clarification promptly through the stated channel. March Ahead can help organise the selection journey; medical decisions remain with the designated authorities.
