Can girls apply for NDA?
Yes. The Indian Air Force’s official NDA entry information explicitly includes male and female candidates. Consult the UPSC examination notice for the opportunities, vacancies, educational requirements and other conditions attached to the specific intake and wing you want.

Check the route, not a generic eligibility claim
Start with education subjects, date of birth and the notified personal eligibility conditions. The Air Force NDA route specifies Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2. Check each other wing separately. Vacancy numbers or conditions quoted for a previous examination should not determine your current application.

Prepare for the written papers
Build a plan from the Mathematics and GAT syllabus and official papers. Your diagnostic results should determine the balance of concept learning, practice and review. Gender-based assumptions about subject strengths are unhelpful; identify your own gaps and track improvement through fresh questions.

Understand SSB and service life
Learn the assessment stages and investigate what officer training and service responsibilities involve. Reflect on your actual interests, teamwork and decision-making. There is no need to construct a model personality or memorise a special answer about being a woman in uniform.

Use official information and a focused consultation to discuss course preferences, preparation format, travel and family questions. Read the applicable medical provisions through the recruitment documents. Keep academic alternatives open while pursuing the route with a clear understanding of its selection stages.
