From practice feedback to a follow-up plan

For candidates who want to understand a preparation review before seeking help. This original Academy example concerns clarity in an interview-practice account. It is invented, not a real candidate case, Commander Sharma’s psychological assessment, or a promise of the report format supplied in coaching.

The sample review

Practice prompt
Describe a time you helped a team finish a task.
Illustrative response
We organised a college event. We worked hard and it went well.
Observation
The account does not yet explain the speaker’s own action or what “went well” means. This is a comment on the account, not a personality judgement.
Clarifying questions
What did you personally do? Who handled other tasks? What difficulty arose? What outcome can you describe accurately?
Next practice
Reflect on the facts, then explain a different genuine experience. Do not invent leadership or memorise an improved script.
Follow-up check
Can a listener accurately describe your contribution? What still needs clarification?

How to use the pack

Read the completed example, then use the blank review log for your own exercise. Keep the original attempt, record an observation and choose one next action. Try it on fresh material before reviewing again. The pack is a print-and-write PDF, not an interactive form. No OLQ score or recommendation prediction is provided.

Actual feedback within March Ahead coaching may be written or verbal, with an individual follow-up plan. Agree the exercise, format and arrangements before starting.
